Flowking stone's new single "fire burn dem" is on the lips of every Ghanaian... The song is getting all the needed attention it deserves.. Is a nice piece and I think every music lover should have a copy... Many have said that flowking murdered sarkodie on that song.. But upon a careful study and analysis on the song I have come to a conclusion that Sark helped Stone to "WRITE" his lyrics..
Now let's go to the hard facts, my little research reviews that indeed sarkodie recorded his version first and sent it to stone... I then decided to pay attention to the song and try as much as possible to decode what both rappers said...after reading below lyrics it goes to confirm that stone was practically responding to Sark.. Read below :
FlowKing Stone: No matter what the hater go do, Im still on the rise (rice) like stew He uses homophones (rice, rise)- Sark said he mixed up the flow like rice and stew but Stone throws a jab at Sark that he is on the rice (the one Sark is missing) like stew. Flowking stone :Magye me din nti 3n3 mop3 Nsia a, ludo Again, he uses homophones (words sounds same but different meaning). Its been rumoured that Sark has been swerving a collab. Stone is trying to say that he is now popular so if Sark is searching for six (Nsiah )-Nsiah is Stone’s surname- he plays the ludo instead because he is hard to personally come by Flowking stone :Mo nyane gyata no, me de mo b3y3 dinner You know how Sarkodie called for the feature?
Stone is telling Sark that he woke the lion (him) so Sark is going to be his dinner. Flowking stone: Only one Stone, killi birds two The track had two artiste, Stone is trying to say he killed these two artiste on the track Flowking stone :No matter the weather, we dey reign (rain) Stone implies that it doesn’t matter what is happening, he still reigns as the best rapper. The weather and rain also suggests he beats Sarkodie no matter the beat (weather). Now you will agree with me that flowking stone was responding directly to sarkodie's rap, he could only do this after listening and studying sarkodie's rap...
One other way it can be looked at is the fact that stone wanted the song to have a story to tell.... And even that could only have been done after listening to sarkodie... All said and done.. I think the whole song is a nice piece.. Both rappers used the beat very well, especially stone... For giving us many styles as much as possible in one song... Big ups to #SARKNATION and #BRADEZ My opinion tho
